Your presentations on an aspect of precolonial Igbo culture are DUE TOMORROW 2/27!!! Please be ready to present your topic to the class.
Because of the issues with getting access to the computer lab and other time constraints, you should finish the GoogleSlides portion of your research projects over the break. If you'd like to complete the assignment, send me a message on REMIND and I will assign you a person to research. A description of the assignment can be found below: Black History Month Extra Credit assignment: Black LGBTQ+ People Black History Month is a time to celebrate the ways in which Black Americans (who have historically been erased from the dominant narrative of our country) have enhanced and empowered themselves and their people. However, even within that framework of promoting marginalized voices, there are huge swaths of Black Americans who are sadly missing from the picture. Black LGBTQ+ people suffer an additional level of oppression due to their identities, and BHM lacks the stories and voices of the Black LGBTQ+ community. Your assignment is to do a short, biographical project on a Black LGBTQ+ person and add their names and accomplishments to your knowledge of Black History! You will be assigned a person, and your task is to complete the following:
