FINAL EXAM TOMORROW!!!

1/17/2018

0 Comments

Please continue to study for your ELA final exam! Be sure to:
  • Get some good sleep!!
  • Come to class prepared with pens/pencils, loose leaf paper and a copy of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks for your exam.

**REMEMBER: This exam is different from the ones you may be used to, instead of completing ALL sections of the exam, you may complete the sections that you want, as long as what you choose totals 100 points.
  • You may ONLY go for 100 points, no more no less.
  • If you complete too few sections, you will still be graded out of 100.
  • If you complete too many sections, I will stop once the exam reaches 100 attempted points and not grade anything additional.

ESSAY PROMPT: What is the responsibility/purpose of medicine?
You may consider:
  • Should medicine be only to help and assist others, or should its main goal be to discover new technologies?
  • Should medicine be practiced freely and selflessly, or is there a benefit to offering rewards and incentives to doctors and researchers?
  • If needed, you may discuss doctor's oaths in this essay. You can paraphrase ideas from the oaths (since you do not have direct evidence) but be sure to CITE with the name of the oath.

Note: School starts at 9:15 am tomorrow (1/18)!
  • 9:15-9:45  --> ADVISORY
  • 9:50-11:54 --> SCIENCE FINALS
  • 11:56-12:38  --> LUNCH
