Using your photocopies of Chapter 2 and what you learned in class today about characterization:
  • Characterize Mr. Butt (a new character we will meet in Ch. 2).
  • Choose at least THREE elements of STEAL to characterize Mr. Butt.
    • Be sure to include EVIDENCE from the text (cited correctly) and an EXPLANATION that includes adjectives that describe the character.
    • Check out the sample chart below for more detail. You can recreate the same chart in your notes to characterize Mr. Butt.
