Reading & Research

There are several things going on in class right now. Check the list below to make sure that you are 100% prepared for the upcoming week:

• The quiz on Chapter 24 has been postponed from today until tomorrow! Make sure that you refresh your memory for a quiz on Chapter 24 TOMORROW 12/8!

 

• Please continue working on your research for your Mastery Work. If you're feeling stuck or confused, come talk to me so we can figure something out together. Please DO NOT DELAY on figuring out a topic and area of research for your paper.

• Don't forget! Your first poem check for Poetry Out Loud is due on Friday 12/9. Choose a poem from the www.poetryoutloud.org anthology.
  • Poem must be at least 10 lines
  • Extra credit for poems that are 25+ lines
  • You may not use the same poem from last year (I will check!)
